The following documents an invited contribution to an exhibition entitled Diaspora. ScotPortfolio are a platform and digital archive that celebrates and showcases the ideas, drawings and projects emerging from the five Scottish architecture schools.

The exhibition presented drawings by contributors who studied in Scotland but are no longer based there to highlight Scotland’s diaspora of talented graduates. Fraser Exhibited work alongside Sam Jacob, Farshid Moussavi, Amin Taha, and others. A PUBLICATION COLLATING THE WORKS WAS ALSO PRODUCED. FRASER’S contribution entitled ‘copy, paste, higher!,’ investigates why we build tall today through a process of copying tall buildings from history.
